What I have seen so far is that all the "bad guys" who have appeared at this Inquiry come out in a far better place than when they went in. Drummer would be no different - that is why he is volunteering to "appear" or maybe more sinisterly to muddy the legal proceedings.

I can just here him apologising for the tapes, apologising for the Anglo collapse, apologising, apologising, apologising. But at all times he was acting in good faith blah blah blah. He can't come back to Ireland coz the tapes coverage will prevent him getting a fair hearing. Lehmans is what did for Anglo. etc. etc. etc.

Not surprisingly, Pearse Doherty has no difficulty with a video link to the "on the run".

I too would have reservations on facilitating somebody wanted here giving evidence.

If he wants to give evidence - let him jump on a plane.
