Planning permission question

I am due a decision on my planning application next week- they asked for additional info on my original application.
Would it be a help if I emailed the authority giving
somebackground info that mightn`t be on file or do they frown on this?

We had the same request back last year when we went through this process. What we did was submit all the answers to every question and a cover letter with brief synopsis of answers through the planning process.

To be honest, I'm not sure what else you could/ should give them outside of what they requested and through the planning process.
Ours was passed successfully after we provided the additional info.

thanks for that - the info has already been returned by my planner that answers their queries/concerns.
I was thinking of sending in an email just giving on own view and also some personal background info that they might take into consideration?
