Phantom Bidding - How to prevent?

Call me paranoid but I wonder sometimes if EA's post here pretending to be buyers who are suspiscious of phantom bids only to discover the phantom bids don't exist...!

Not saying that's you dotsman, but I would not be surprised if this starts happening.

So somebody has a somewhat positive story that goes against the usual doom and paranoia and it equates to those sinister EA's up to their old tricks again. Maybe if some people took a more balanced view of things they might actually learn something here rather than blindly sticking to their (hopes and wants) that the market is in freefall.
