Perm TSB mortgage buildings insurnace

Hi

Can anyone tell me if the Perm TSB will provide their own buildings cover if you ask them when you take out their mortgage?
 
The cover they will sell you will more than likely be through Allianz (Ireland) as IL&P have a 20% stake in Allianz (Ireland) as far as I know.

Having said that, they may have agencies with other insurers as well.

Any reason why you would want to use ptsb to sell you insurance and not shop around for the best deal?
 
I want to draw down the mortgage asap, I am signing on Friday and would like the money by xmas. Who if anyone will provide instant cover? I do not want to delay drawdown if at all possible.
 
Cover can be obtained very quickly in most cases, I used www.123.ie last time and was happy.

Maybe an e-mail/PM to (AAM member) might be of use?
