Hi,
I own and run my own business. it is very small and just about ticking over in these times, enough to keep me under roof and fed, but not much more. i am conscious that I have not started a pension and am wondering if anyone has any advice regarding how/when I should go about this. I am now 30.

Thanks

I wouldn't be too woried about it in the current climate. If you can add some value to your business or save a few bob for short-term emergencies, it might suit you better.

If you are a sole trader you should probably be looking at a PRSA or Personal Pension. If you are a Company Director, them an Executive Pension or PRSA may suit.

If your income is low and you are not paying income tax, then just park the pension idea until you are.
