Hi,

I have a very small sum in a pension with my 1st employer.

I have a pension set up with my 2nd employer. I left this company in January. ANd I would now like to pay my pension contribution for last year. (Appearently I cant pay this into the 2nd employers pension arrangemnet).

I have been with my 3rd employer since jan. They will not give me a pension until early july - then it will be paid as if since jan.

Where should I pay a pension contibution for 2006?

Thanks

If the pension schemes with employer 1 and 2 were occupational schemes and you have now left these employments then I don't think that you can make further contributions to them. If your current employer offers a scheme before October 31st then you can contribute to this and set the contribution against 2006 tax. Otherwise you may need to open a PRSA or personal pension plan for the once off lump sum contribution.
