In process of moving. luckily have no mortgage left on current property. Difference in price of new property is in the region of 100k with stamp duty of around 40k. trying to figure out how much cash as opposed to mortgage i would require. obviously need to write cheque for deposit 60k approx, will i then get mortgage for 80k or do i need cash for stamp duty? Have been getting mixed advice on this so a bit of clarity would be great.
