Pasport for Tenerife question

Hi
My son is traveling to Tenerife for 10 days in July with his friend and family...
His pasport expires in November.
Will he be able to travel to Tenerife with only 4 mths remaining on his pasport? (i.e does it have to be valid for 6 mths from travel date or is that only the USA?)

He will have no problem whatsoever , once his passport is still valid on his return date.
Some countries ask for a remaining period on a passport when issuing visas , however this does not apply in your sons case.
