after a rollercoaster few years with IVF I am thrilled to finally be pregnant with our first baby! As my employer does not provide sick pay or provide paid time off to attend appointments I am doing a lot of research into my situation for the next few months.
My employer knows about the IVF treatment - all appointments were taken as annual leave so far this year (about 8 days or more in total) I cant find any specific answer if these can be clawed back and should be remibursed as holidays at work as they relate to maternity?
Also, moving forward, I know that you are entitled to paid time off for maternity appointments and cannot be made take these as holidays. Are there any conditions attached to this for the employer (e.g they can make you rearrange dates or times or similar?)
