Hey quick question.

It turns out my P60 is wrong for last year, the figure is actually more than what I earn and the tax office has the same figure.

What will the implications of this be?

No great implication unless you go into more detail. The main them is the gross pay has enough tax deducted to cover it as if you go for a balancing statement you would be liable for shortfall in this or levy.

Other effect maybe if you are going for college grant/medical card etc

If you know the correct net from your bank statement for 2009 and compare too p60 gross less tax, employee prsi and levy and the difference the company should owe you or

Do you have B.I.K items

If the P60 was incorrect, then I would request the company to reissue you with the correct P60. The company can amend their P35 and this will update Revenues records
