Hi, yes you read it right, we fixed for ten years at 5.6 with EBS.
Just out of it.
Have 15 years left on mortgage.(we took out 25 year mortgage)
Want to swap provider but don't want to make a mess of it again.
We are now on 3.7% rate.
Any recommendation what to do?
House is worth around €450,000 plus and we have €210,000 approx left to pay.

As far as I know our mortgage relief is ending this December.
Both employed.

Do you want fixed, variable, or a mix of both?

You'll get 2.75% LTV with AIB, but pay for your own legal fees.

Don't AIB pay €2,000 to switchers? I would have thought that would comfortably cover all switching costs.

Personally, I think KBC's 10-year fix at 2.95% looks like a pretty attractive option at the moment and KBC currently has a €3,000 cashback offer for switchers.

Any remaining entitlement to mortgage interest relief (which is expected to be extended in the upcoming budget for a further three years on a tapered basis) won't be lost by switching.

Apologies, correct. I didn't realise they paid 2k. I thought it was only through EBS that they provided cash back.
