Can anyone advise please whether having (and regularly using) an overdraft facility on one's current account has a negative impact when applying for a mortgage.
I'll be applying for a mortgage in a few months' time and have an overdraft limit of €400. I go overdrawn by about €300 every month, but have never gone over the limit, i.e. €400.
Will the bank view it as a negative when considering my mortgage application.
I also save about €400 per month, so if I didn't have an overdraft I possibly wouldn't be able to save regularly.
Any feedback from people who have applied to mortgages, please?
