oven not working after self clean

electric oven is fecked after a self clean. I've only used the self clean twice, I've seen on another post they are supposed to be done regularly. Anyway there was a flame at one stage so that can't be good, and there's nothing happening since. anyone know what might be the problem or of an oven repair person who will do the city centre? I see someone mentioned a washing machine repair guy but I'd prefer someone who does ovens.
 
May be a stupid question but, Are you sure that the oven isn't just set to auto mode (timer). Put back in manual mode and it may start up again.

I think I've got it on manual, I had to fiddle with the clock alright, I'll doublecheck.
I'll try those guys though they don't mention ovens,ta.
 
Can you open the door?

its just that in the oven we used have that sometimes the lock would stick so if we turned it off overnight, it would be ok in the morning
