Hi thank you I'm advance for any replies.

If a person is on an invalidity pension and they get married are they at risk of loosing same ie being means testing because of new partners wages.

Thank you

No - as invalidity pension is based on PRSI contributions, it will not be affected by your partner's income.

Thanks a million for replay.
Person was on sickness benefit for some time and then transferred to invalidity pension.

Person had been working for approx 10 years prior to illness.

Does that mean there is an 'end date' for invalidity pension as it is based on prsi?

No end date for invalidity pension if condition remains the same.
My husband receives one and my income does not count. I pay tax on his pension though as jointly assessed and we do not receive the household package which is means tested. He does receive the travel pass which I too can travel on.
