Old tape recorder repairs

Does anyone know if there is a place in the south east that would repair an old tape recorder?

No but I know of plenty of places/ways to convert whatever is on your tapes to a digital format, thereby allowing you to donate the tapes and the recorder...?!

Sorry for delay in replying. It's a Grundig TK 18 reel to reel. Drive belts are perished. They are available on-line, but I don't know what sequence they are put on. Is there an instruction leaflet or booklet? Any help appreciated!

I found these (and more!!) messing with search terms. Not affiliated with them and no statement as to quality of service or products. Best of luck. My late uncle who lived in London had one. I miss the conversations, songs, music and parties he recorded.

Thanks mathepac! I can understand your memories, I haven't listened to the tapes of our children for nearly forthy years, so I'm hoping to get it working again.
