old pensions

i've been listening to the advice of my "advisor" with eagle star pensions, and found out that i've now 4 pensions, all worth nothing major, but i've only found out i've 4 recently!!, rather than putting it into the one fund, im now thinking about just having one and closing the others....

awe, to be honest i've not a clue about this, but would like something thats worth at least what you've put in to it.....

could someone tell me what kinda thing i should set up?

What type of pensions are they, Personal, Executive, PRSA...?

What reason were you given for having 4?

What's your current employment status ie Sole Trader, Employee, Director.. ?

I'm interesting in an answer to this.

I've a few pension funds - that seem to be making no money.

What are the rules for transferring them into a single, better, personal pension fund?

I've looked in a few Web sites .... found these ... but it's not clear
