noisy electric window

When I open the driver's window, [actually all the windows are equally bad] it seems to be stuck for a second, then it pulls free noisily and opens.
I brought it back to the garage [it's new] but they are unable to fix it. Similar cars don't have this problem. It's a Mazda3.
Any suggestions?

I know it sounds mad but i've used talcum power on my windows before, you open the window and get the powder in the guide slot (very hard). It does work but not for very long and it's very messy, i just learned to live with it, but being a new car i probably wouldn't.

Chances are it's the guides at either side of the glass that need to be greased. Get them (or do it yourself) to remove the door card and grease everything up, runners, guides, supports, whatever you wanna call them. Do both sides, and the part where the arms from the motor attach onto the bottom of the glass.

It's obviously not the motor/regulator, so that's good.

Go to auto factors halfords etc and get nylon/rubber silicone spray. Spray all the runners, that should do the trick.
