I was at a gig a few years ago, and a ventriloquist came on, and I thought to myself, "not a ventriloquist. I couldn't sit through that".

But she was brilliant - some of the stuff was surreal. Her monkey took her over at one stage and it was really convincing.

Anyway she did a ventriloquist gig on the radio last night and you can listen again here.

She's in a new comedy on HBO with Chris O'Dowd, and her monkey, called Family Tree. Probably end up on SKY Atlantic.

Watched the first episode and it showed promise. It's produced by Christoper (Spinal Tap) Guest.

"Educating Archie" was on the radio here in England when I was a child. Peter Brough was the ventriloquist (Spelling?) with his dummy Archie Andrews - or was it the other way round?

I wonder does the '..For Dummies' series of books include one on ventriloquism?

Does this mean that you are for or against Nina?

I never heard of her before Brendan posted. But, I'm loving what I see on YouTube.

It's always good to know where one stands.;)
