yes, I'm very green about this kinda thing, but I've been charged with seeking out and setting up a bank account for a new charity organisation.
Looks like Halifax are the best deal, and the saturday am banking would suit very well. The founders of the charity are spread around the country and none live near me, but for business banking, I imagine 2 sigs are required for cheque book.
Does any one have any experience in the charity/fundraising line that could give me any general tips or advice?

Nothing will upset suppliers more than the "we're waiting for the second cheque signatory to come back from the walking holiday in Outer Mongolia" excuse for delayed payments.
