Negative equity and interest relief

Hi all,
Would be thankful if someone can help on this. I am a first time buyer and have interest relief coming through my bank account every month as the mortgage dd goes through. I just cancelled the direct debit as I can not afford the full repayment (interest only finished up recently). My account is in review with lender. I have the lender's bank details and I am going to pay them the amount which I can afford. I wonder, how will I claim the interest relief?
 
Hi New2town, interest relief is at source, so they may still give to you, if not look under the revenue website www.revenue.ie should advise. good luck with that
