Hi everyone,
I am looking for help and maybe, you will be able to provide it to me.
Actually, I am a jobseeker and I got an opportunity with an american company which has a virtual office in London.
They want to take me on board for 40k€ per year for a work from home position 'so based in Dublin).
Actually, they gave me a first contract that was a UK contract, but as I am currently living in Ireland, it did not take in consideration the irish taxes.
Now, they are offering me a contractor agreement.
I have several questions :
1./ a-When you are a contractor for a company, do you have the same rate of tax ( 20% under 36k€/yr and 41% above 36k)?
b- Is there any other tax that are apply to that status ? Do I have to create a company to be eligible for that status ?
2./ Does anyone know a type of contract (US or UK contract) that the company could give to me instead of that one ?
I hope someone will be able to help me.
Thank you in advance,
Regards.
