Th stud on one of the safety belts is missing and wondering would this be an issue in passing the NCT. Garage told me tthey could not affix a new stud but would have to replace the entire belt.
I had a drivers safety belt which was frayed at the edges along a 2-3 inch stretch. I neatly trimmed it and used a match to gently burn off loose threads. Got it through NCT one year. Two years later it failed and I had to replace the entire belt. Would have thought that a stud would be easy to buy and put on the belt, if done neatly.
