Mortgage TRS

I receive an even figure of 100E as my TRS on mortgage repayments. Can anyone tell me how TRS is calculated? An even figure of 100E seems a bit odd. I know it depends on how much interest you are liable for but what is the calculation formula used.

TRS relief is given at standard rate so €100 divided by 20 and multiplied by 100 = €500 is the amount of monthly interest on which you are getting relief. Annually this is €500 x 12 months = €6K. So this suggests that you are paying at least €6K interest p.a. Since your actual relief is €100 p.m or €1,200 p.a. it suggests that you are married and outside the initial 7 year preferential relief period of your mortgage. See [broken link removed].
