Mortgage Statements from closed bank.

I had a mortgage with Irish Nationwide in 2003. This was eventually sold to IBRC which then sold ro Ascenden and then Mars Capital.
I will be eligible for Revenue new Mortgage Interest Relief Credit for mortgages from 2004 to 2012 and wonder where can I go to get a copy of statements as these are all closed now apart from Mars Capital.

I don't think the mortgage interest relief credit allows you to claim relief on interest payments made back in 2004 to 2012

You can only claim back last 4 years, I believe

You're mixing up two different credits.

You will only be able to claim the *new* Mortgage Interest Tax Credit on interest paid in 2023. It is not available yet.

You cannot claim the old Mortgage Interest Relief because you took out your mortgage in 2003. It's only for mortgages taken out between 2004 and 2012.
