I was told by AIB that I was approved for a mortgage. I agreed the sale of a house two weeks ago and on the same day requested AIB to send out the letter of offer. Two weeks later - I still havent received it. The Monday before last they told me they had posted it. When I hadn't received it by Friday I rang them again and they apologised and said they would definitely post it that day. It is now the following Tuesday and I still havent received it. Has anyone had a similar experience? Is it normal to wait this long on it? I wouldn't mind if they had said to be in the first place that it would take a few weeks but its starting to worry me now when they keep saying they've posted it and then nothing !
