Front page story on todays Irish Times seems silent on the fact that the cap, in some circumstances, is reduced from 10k to 3k. My understanding is that a person say on year 7 got relief at 20% on 10k (this was to expire in year 7) but the budget extended the relief till 2017 at 30% but on a reduced cap figure of 3k which means the relief of about 166 per month comes down to 83 euro per month. Apologies if i have misread the whole matter.
