Mortgage for house in need of refurbishment

Does anyone know if the cost of refurbishment could be included in a mortgage?
Myself and my husband are both first time buyers. We were given mortgage approval for 375k which would cover the cost of this house including the renovation needed. Do the banks usually allow us to do this???

No - they will only give you up to 92% of the purchase price of the property .
