What is the minimum mortgage amount available in Ireland? If someone needs to repay fair deal of 38000 on family home can they get a mortgage for this amount?
 
Hi,

Sounds like you would need to give a lot more information before anyone can give you proper advice about this mortgage and the type of stuff that the bank would ask i.e. how the Fair Deal would come into the equation etc.

Does Bank of Ireland have a minimum mortgage amount or term?

I can't find it on their website.

Now whether they will actually lend such low amounts in practice is a different question.
 
Probably quicker and easier to get a personal loan.
A bit more expensive at 7% (Avant) but no legal fees.

Revenue via HSE will take a payment plan in certain circumstances but their Fair deal rate is 8% (0.0219% a day)
 
You can always take out a (non fixed rate) mortgage for more than you need and once everything is paid us the remainder to repay the mortgage. Bringing it back down to the level you really wanted.
