Medcial card and p60 for the last year.

Hi.

I apllied for a medical card; filled in application form, attached all relevant documents and after 4 weeks I received a letter where I'm being ask to sumbit all the documents that I have already sent with my application.
They also ask me to send my husband's p60 for 2010. Now, do I really have to send them p60 for the past year?
Why would they need it?

The thing is, my husband had a lot of overtimes last year,so we didn't qualify for MC, but he doesn't have any in this year that's why I applied for a MC again. If they will calculate our income for 2010, we won't qualify for MC again, what should I do in this situation??

And one more question - does The Back To Education Allowance affects eligibility for MC??

My wife has been through hell and back to get a MC card for our son. After weeks and weeks of telephoning they eventually replied and said they misplaced her original applicaition. All the info, P60's etc had to be gotton again. more weeks of hell, constant phoneing and eventually got approval last week.

But I already applied for it, so what should I do now?
Wait for my husband's p60 for 2011 and then send it to them?
