I'm just back from maternity leave. Last year I had over €1200 on drs fees,prescriptions etc. I wish to claim this back through med 1 my issue is since I was out most of last year sick with the pregnancy and maternity leave I did not pay tax from what I gather from my p60. I was wondering if it possilbe for me to claim my med 1 through my husband for me and my daughter. Since he was in full employment as this is worth about €300 tax back. normally my tax is separate to hes. What would anyone advise as
