Marlay Wood, Rathfarnham

Hi all

Does anyone have opinions on what Marlay Wood is like to live in? What are the bus routes into the city centre like? How far of a walk would the Luas be?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Very nice area live quite near myself. Theres a variety of bus routes - 16,14,48A abd the luas is about a 15 minute walk - you would have to walk to Dundrum to get it. Marlay Park just across the road go there if you can!

I would have thought the Luas in Dundrum is more than a 15 minute walk from Marlay Wood.

Luas is 20 min quick walk from Marlay or I think if you get the 14A it goes down past the Windy Arbour Luas stop. Lovely area though I live in the estate beside it, handy for schools, shopping, parks....

I am living in Marley View which is closer to the Luas than Marley Wood and it takes 25 min to walk to Luas and that is at a fast pace.
