Making the most of a long day

I start work around 7am and normally finish at 7pm. My hours are flexible and if I wanted I could start work at 3am and finish at 3pm etc. My hours can be manipulated and I'm also not stuck to a factory or office floor all day; I have the option of being on the road too.

I don't have much time for any social output as I'm trying to juggle hours.

I also don't feel I'm achieving much in the 12 hours I have dedicated to work.

Anyone have any tips on how to time manage or can you recommend any books that would help please?

Generally I am a slow worker but my work is precise. I just need to speed things up a bit!

What sort of work do you do?
Can you get someone else to do lower value-add work that you are slow at so that you can concentrate on core or high value add work?
Do you set daily targets?
How do you manage your time at the moment?
How many days a week do you work?
Do you find you are tired and less productive later in the day? If you work long hours you need to keep your mind alert and that's best done by being physically fit and healthy.
