Luas ticketing system

A lot of platforms along the red line have only 1 machine on each site, however nearly everyone after "Blackhorse" has uncovered new SmartCard payment terminals flashing "Please swip card".

I love the machine because I can buy my monthly bus/luas ticket with credit card and the funny faces of the bus drivers when they argue that this is not a valid ticket is so cool.

Is that what those mysterious new yokes with the teaser ad campaign along the Luas lines are! I've been wondering about that for a while now. Anybody know what those Lolita like "Lick!" posters at the stops are for though? Sounds promising.
