Letter to America?

I sent a DVD to a friend for his birthday in NY on Monday by standard post. The postage cost €3.50.

Will he have it by Friday?
 
I thought this was a post about the Proclaimers finally replying to their Letter from America

An Post claim it could take 5/7 working days so i'd imagine it will next some time next week.
 
Actually I thought it was a post regarding replying to the late great Alistair Cooke's Letter from America.
Sorry, cant help you with the postage query.

I think you should walk five hundred miles, and you should walk five hundred more to be the man who walks 1,000 miles to deliver the DVD to the door.
 
He got it on Thursday.

It cost just over €3 to post it.

And yes, it was a multi-region DVD
 
Thats amazing he got it so quickly. Usually when I post to USA it takes over a week but post coming from there has come in 4 days.

Impressive, it often takes as long for post within the 26 counties
