Legal requirement to open post?

Simple question really, to which I think I may already know the answer!

I'm getting post from a nuisance source. Can I just return it to sender?
 
Yep. Cover your name and address on front of letter and write. Return to Sender across front.
I do it all the time with M50 toll letters and their solicitors. Im sure I'll get the 'ooh that'll bite you in the ass one day, but I know Im in the right so good luck bringing me to court! :)
