2 adults 55yrs no health issues on Simplicity -thanks to Snowy’s advice last year.. Happy with cover except the €175 pn on hi tech. Hip/knee may be needed if anything. No day to day needed(go physio etc) Don’t want to reduce cover but maybe even increase as years go by. Plans with ‘complete ‘- no excess cover for hi tech seem to be up in 3000’s which is too high for us. Simplicity still best option?
Our two kids on Vhi one+ plan for 14yr old 146€ & One plan 250 €535 for 23yr old. Used Vhi last year as was best for young adult. I see Laya talking about new young adult cover. Thanks.
At the moment we prefer to pay lump sum rather than dd so not sure if new Vhi incentive would apply. The electronic documents would be fine.

Xraylady,

The options already chosen for the 14 yr old and the 23 yr old are still best value.

An alternative option for the 2 adults is Laya Simply Connect @ 1100pa. Similar enough to Simplicity plan. But if full cover for a private room
in a private hospital is important, then Simplicity is the better option.
Note; a hip/knee replacement surgery is fully covered in all hi-tech hospitals, this means no excess or shortfall applies.

Regarding the new VHI incentive, you can set up an annual direct debit, which means you pay the lump sum as a one off payment by direct debit
if you want to avail of the extra 50 euro cash back.
