Late filing of CG1

Hi,

I sold my (non-PPR) house in 2019 for a loss and I never filed a CG1 form (don't care about carrying losses forward, I'm unlikely to live in Ireland for the foreseeable future). Is there a penalty for late filing of this form in this case? My Form 11 was filed and tax paid as appropriate.

No. The penalty is calculated as a percentage of the tax due. So if there was a loss, then there's nothing to base a penalty on.
