Key for clock

I have an old clock at home that I want to mount on the wall. The trouble is, I'm missing the key for it (in fact the key has been missing for years - a small pliers was used to wind it the last time). It's a fairly standard square holed clock key. Has anyone any idea of somewhere I can bring my clock to get fitted/buy a new key for it?

Thanks!

I think this is a standard sized key. I'd ask a jewellers for advice, maybe even bring in the clock just to be sure. Failing that, an antique shop might be able to help.

Or just get a new pliers. :)

See Golden Pages p. 385 - Clocks - Repairing. One of them will sort you out in a tick I'm sure.

hi jhn,
My father has an old clock that hangs on his wall,He had similar problem too, couldnt find the key or it was lost or something, but any ways hes uses the key for the radiators, you know for letting out the air. It works perfectly for the clock too! thought I would share tht info with you!
best of luck
