Job Seekers Benefit - not in Post Office today

Talk about Xmas cheer - my son went to collect his payment in the post office this morning & was told it wasn't available today due to a computer problem which happened 2 days ago - so only payments due on Monday & Tuesday are being paid & his will be available tomorrow. He's actually ok - we can help out - but what about people who are relying on that money - people with kids etc. When your only getting that amount another day can make such a difference.

Did your son not get a double week last week? There were no regular Jobseeker payments due to issue this week.

Payments which would normally be collected on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week (i.e. 28th and 29th) are being made available this week - so if there has been a delay, it's a delay of a payment that wasn't due till next week anyway.
