After my dad waiting 16 weeks for his jsa to be sorted out, its finally sorted but they are sending him the arrears at a later date, does anyone have any idea fow long will that wait be or will that take 16 weeks also!
 
Well I got my arrears within a week of starting to receive J.A. It arrived in my post office with my payment last week. Hope it's as quick for your dad

when he got the letter last week to say he qualified for jsa they said on the letter that his arrears would follow shortly in the post, i told him maybe they didnt want him getting so much backpay from the post office and persumed they would send a cheque to home address by post!

will just have to see if he gets it this week!!, its just that he depending on the cash after 16 odd weeks waiting and then he just gets 1 payment in post office when he qualified, he has bills to pay!!

hopefully he not be waiting to much longer,
