Hi, a relative who lives in England is selling her apartment here. She will have a small lump sum to invest afterwards, hopes to buy over there in a few years. So she needs some advice on where to invest it - she wants to invest over there in sterling. Ideally it would be a deposit account with a decent rate but she doesn't necessarily want to lock it in for a long time as the plan would be to use it to buy property in a year or two. I'm just wondering is there an AAM site for British banks? Or anyone here an expert?
Any advice appreciated, thanks
