I opened a bank account with the Bank of Ireland about 12 years ago. I then started a job that used AIB as their bank so i opened an account with them to make life easier. I still recieve statements from BOI every few months even though the account has not been used in years and the balance is €0.00. I am going to call into the branch tomorrow but was just wondering in the meantime if anyone thinks i would be able to start using this account again? The branch is much handier for me as it is next to the post office where i collect my social welfare.
