That's according to the World Economic Forum.
Coupled with our very low levels of net income disparity relative to the OECD, despite our high levels of gross (pre-tax and welfare) income disparity shows that we are a very equal society.

Is this good news?
 
Depends on what (relative) means?
Could be most of the rest are dire ?

The OECD may be or may not be a good benchmark.

Each town holds too many areas where income disparity shows,
I am inclined to think , could do better is our real score.
