Ipad keeps crashing

anyone have the same experience? The ipad has several apps that are on the verge of downloading and then go back to square 1 and wont download.

browser shuts down constantly too.
Advice on the net suggests to close and restart, it doesnt work
 
I know this is not much help, but I've been using my IPad for several hours each day now for several months now and never seen this. Was it OK to start out or was it always like this? Have you tried a complete reset and done a one by one reinstallation of the applications?
