Hi can anyone tell me why Insurance company's are very selective and rigid when selecting staff. I have been trying to get into a large Insurer for some time now , i have over 3.5 years of experience with a car leasing company,dealing with Injury cases etc... however every time i interview they tell me yeah thats great , you know the works , but we are a bit concerned that you have never worked for an Insurance Company before , so cheerio , then opt for the person with "experience" good or bad it does not matter.
I think they have some cheek , it usually takes 8 years slog in a large company to get to the hands on level i am currently on , they also tend to forget about the flawed settlement processes that attributed to high premiums which where administrated by , thats right , insurers.
