I'm thinking of installing a shower unit in the guest bathroom of my house. Does anyone know the cost of having a job like this done? Any advice also would be appreciated. Thanks
Is this the first electric shower in the house or the second, because if it is the second you need a discriminator fuse box installed which costs 160 euro before any other cabling or labor is added to the price. Some electricians do without this which is against the regulations.
Sorry to hijack this post but I'm also in the process of getting an electric shower fitted. I have been given a price of €480 for the labour. The plumber will supply the cabling and whatever is needed to hook it up to the fusebox. I will supply the shower unit itself. Does anyone else think this is too expensive? Can anyone recommend a plumber in North Dublin who might do it for less?
