I'm considering taking out an income protection policy. The only website I could find offering online quotes was primafinance.ie
Cover of €950 per week to age 65 was quoted as follows:
Canada Life €697.99 p.a.
Irish Life €991.13 p.a.
Hibernian €1,310.24 p.a.
Friend First € N/A
Cover of €950 per week to age 60 was quoted as follows:
Canada Life €523.61 p.a.
Friend First €802.17 p.a.
Irish Life €815.60 p.a.
Hibernian €964.84 p.a.
Can anybody explain why there are such variances in the premiums quoted. I assume there must be significant differences between policies. I'd be grateful if anybody can help explain this and give any experiences
with these providers. Which policy is best and are there any other brokers worth checking out?
