Illness benefit but still don't receive money.

Hi,

I applied for illness benefit on 14 of August 2012.
Received a decision 3 weeks ago, which said that I'll be getting 217 e.
I went to SW yesterday to ask them why I still didn't get anything and I was told that my partner's income has to be tested first.
She was on Jobseeker Allowance till 10 of September but she came back to college so she applied for BTEA. Now she doesn't get anything, because she's waiting for their decision about BTEA as well.
Now we don't have nothing.
Does anyone knows what should I do in this situation?? Have 2 dependant children so I'm very annoyed cause SW left me without any support

Your CWO can give you supplementary welfare allowance to keep you going until they have processed your claims.

Go and see your community welfare officer immediately, bring proof of identity, address and your bank statements with you, for you and your partner. They should give you a payment until your social welfare is sorted.
