I was using a weekender card to get reduced price on a weekend ticket to Mayo up until today when I was told that they are no longer being issued :-( Now the only way to get cheap fares is to go online!! That is what I was told when I just rang Heuston station today.
Typical of Iarnrod Eireann the weekender, is still advertised on their website here [broken link removed] even though it has not been offered apparently since January of this year???
Has anyone else been using it? There does not seem to be anyway now to get a reduction on weekend return tickets??
