Well, Drs Spin and co have been spectacular failures in their attempts to deflect the solids from hitting the fan. These figures are outrageous. Why the need for spin doctors if you've got nothing to hide? Surely a press sec with a little team could manage to explain things. Or has PR become respectable?
 
There's nothing new about the payments to Mr.Drumm's communications adviser. That was in the news a couple of years ago.

Well for starters..... it would appear that there was an attempt to improve the image of the HSE overall because of the battering they were getting for people on trollies for days etc. There was a report at the weekend (sbpost I think), about nurses who had to reuse bed sheets that had not been laundered on numerous occasions............. €51m would go along way to fixing alot of these problems & improving patient care.
 
And they can't find €9 million to pay for the Cervical Cancer vaccine. These muppets have to go.
